Sector for family, marriage and raising of children

 

 

 

This sector is responsible for helping people resolve their family, marriage and issues with raising their children, as these are the most vulnerable life segments. Many specialized lectures on alcoholism, drug addiction and various diseases, which are all consequences of immoral life style, were given within this sector. Our consultants are frequently involved in radio programmes related to these topics. All the activities are performed by the priest (spiritual father), doctors and social workers. The importance of this sector is best seen in the fact that in the last six years fifty families and five hundred people received help in this sector.

 

 

The head of this sector is Dr.scient.med Milijana, who is also the head of the Family Care, and who was particularly active in the last few years in providing support to families, children and mothers regarding feeding and breastfeeding. Since the war several years ago, this organization has managed to do a lot to help and take care of the most vulnerable, and it is closely cooperating with VDS thanks to Dr.Milijana Savic

 

 

Dr. Milijana is one of the initiators of the programme Small Church on the Radio Slovoljubve; she is providing conceptual and general support to the author and radio presenter. This program deals with the issues related to family relationships and the raising of children.

 

 

This sector is organizing the forum for family, marriage and raising of children within the Orthodox National University every last Thursday of the month. The host and presenter is Dr.Milijana Savic.
